An End of Season Gymnastics Club Party for the win! We all know how hard it can be on us moms and our children to get through the sports season, so this party was just what the team needed to celebrate this year’s hardwork and dedication!
We were honored to create a gymnastics party setup for the girls inspired by their uniforms and team colors! Our Party Mama also wanted us to include birds or butterflies because she said in a sense the girls really do “fly.”

Gymnastics Party Decor Ideas
We wanted the party backdrop to really shine, just like the girls do at their competitions! So, we went with our sequin Silver Shimmer Backdrop from our kids party rental inventory and purple, black, and white balloons to match the team colors.
As you may have guessed there are absolutely no butterfly gymnastics printables available anywhere online, so we had to custom design these cutouts ourselves on Canva! We got them printed up by our friends at That Wood Be Cool, along with the team’s logo.

The most exciting part about kids party decorating for us is probably the kids table decor! It’s always fun to pick from the cutest themed plates, cups, and napkins.
…Except we couldn’t find any gymnastics themed tableware that suited the color scheme this time around, so we brought in the stars plates in gold and silver to fit the overall vibe.
DIY Jeweled Glam Party Cups
The Jeweled Cups were an easy DIY to tie-in the girl’s jeweled details from their uniforms. I bought paper cups and adhesive rhinestones from Amazon and stuck them on sporadically in different sizes. Just make sure not to put any too close to the lip of the cup so noone accidentally drinks a jewel!
We also got some calligraphy custom wood name plates for each place setting to add a little extra touch! Finally, the super cute assorted purple and sequin pillows came from 5 Below!
Gymnastics Party Centerpieces
For the centerpieces we kept it simple and elegant incorporating shades of purple and white flowers from Trader Joe’s! I added these Star Shaped Appetizer Picks to jazz them up!
We love Trader Joe’s for small parties when we just need to create a centerpiece or two that really pops. They get their flowers delivered daily, so they always have a very fresh selection to choose from.
I’ve just started arranging florals recently for the last couple events and I’m hooked on the look!
